On Saturday, February 18th, Uplift Solutions hosted a community event that featured a record clearing clinic. Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity (PLSE) was on site at the event to help people take the first steps towards clearing their records, a process that is 100% confidential. At the event, they served over 75 individuals, and their records are now on their way to being cleared. In addition to PLSE, community partners such as Black Men Heal, Keystone First, Beyond Literacy, Danny’s House, The Fountain Fund, Drexel, and Heritage Wireless were there to provide resources to attendees. Everyone in the family was welcome and had an amazing time at this fun community event that had great games, food, and prizes.
