
Larry Krasner
Philadelphia’s 26th District Attorney
Larry S. Krasner, Philadelphia’s 26th District Attorney since 2018, has been re-elected for a second term. With a career spanning 34 years, he’s championed social justice, offering pro bono services to various advocacy groups including ACT UP, Black Lives Matter, and DACA Dreamers. Prior to his role as DA, Krasner served as a federal public defender and worked in civil rights and criminal defense law. Born in 1961, Krasner earned degrees from the University of Chicago and Stanford University. He resides in Philadelphia with his wife, retired Judge Lisa M. Rau, and their two sons.
