“HEALTHY” INCREASE FOR IN-STORE DIETITIANS”
UpLift: Health Solutions Dietitians Making a Real Difference in Underserved Communities in Philadelphia
Westville, NJ March 8, 2017– There is a growth in the number of consumers, living in underserved communities, who are seeking a healthier lifestyle with the help of in-store dietician. Since 2015, the numbers have increased from 38 to 101 (166% increase) and an increase in the amount of total interactions from shoppers from 89 to 302 (239% increase). This evidently demonstrates that since UpLift: Health Solutions’ implementation, there is a significant increase in the amount of shoppers that are seeing the dietician.
Those shoppers that saw the dietician had an increase in the amount spent per week from $32.76 to $33.82 (3.24% increase) and an increase in the amount of trips made per week to the supermarket from 0.92 to 1.11 (20.65% increase). Those that did not see a dietician show a decrease in the amount of money spent per week from $16.19 to $11.60 (28.35%) and a decrease in the amount of trips per week from 0.38 to 0.28 (26.32% decrease).
